Resumen

La rehabilitación de los incisivos centrales superiores, mediante el uso de implantes oseointegrados, es un tratamiento sumamente desafiante y demandante para el clínico, debido a las decisiones que deben ser tenidas en cuenta a la hora de realizar los procedimientos inherentes al mismo. Estas decisiones se encuentran relacionadas, tanto con el momento adecuado para realizar las extracciones dentarias, como con el número, tamaño y diseño de los implantes a colocar y su posición ideal, la necesidad de realizar tratamientos complementarios como técnicas de regeneración ósea guiada y/o uso de injertos de tejido blando y la selección de los componentes protéticos, restauraciones provisionales y definitivas. El tratamiento implanto-protético del sector anterosuperior, en pacientes jóvenes con pérdida de los incisivos centrales superiores por traumatismo, implica realizar un correcto diagnóstico y un tratamiento multidisciplinario en base a un adecuado plan y secuencia de pasos, sumado a una ejecución técnica precisa para lograr el éxito del mismo. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la resolución de un caso clínico mediante un tratamiento odontológico integral de una paciente que, a temprana edad, sufrió un traumatismo dentario y fracturó sus incisivos centrales.
